You can see a lot of thought has gone into the design of this refurbishment in order to give it a modern feel but still with a nod to tradition for this gracious old lady. I raise my hat to the family who have carefully looked after this establishment for 26 years now.
Having stayed overnight at the Allan Ramsay Hotel in Carlops, we decided not to eat out and to try the restaurant’s own menu. And what a lucky decision that was. In fact, it was that good I’ve decided it merits a review all of its own.
